J’aime Paris

19 Sep

I just wanted to share a couple of my favorite pictures from Paris.  Can I say that I am now obsessed and can’t wait to go back.  Everyone says Parisians are rude, but I embraced the culture and language and found that the Parisians where just the nicest  and  most hospitable people.  I had the best time with my dear friend Kelly exploring the city.

Rue Cler. Paris in the rain.

Daily snack. Nutella Banana crepe with red wine.

On the way to Giverny.

Monet’s garden in Giverny

Musée Rodin. One of The Burghers of Calais

Paying homage to the Queen of style. The original Chanel boutique at 31 rue Cambon.

Inside Notre Dame

Hall of Mirrors, Versailles

Cottage at Marie Antoinette’s Hamlet.

Farm at Marie Antoinette’s Hamlet

Looking out one of the clocks at Musée d’Orsay at The Louvre.

One of my favorite images. From atop the Arc de Triomphe.

Sony Noise Canceling Earbuds

12 Jan

I just got these earbuds to use on my last flight from New York. They blocked about pretty much all of the noise and I didn’t have to turn the music up so much when I used them on my run the next morning. If you are in the market for some earbuds these are great!

The Parker Palm Springs

25 Jul

The ONLY place to stay in Palm Springs!  Jonathan Adler designed the interior and the hotel grounds include two pools, a courtyard with hammocks, croquet court, and a giant chess board.   The Palm Springs Yacht Club (PSYC) is available for those who want to get pampered or workout.  There is a glamorous vintage feel much like most of Palm Spring and the Adler designed rooms are to die for.    You will feel like you are in an movie set or in an desert oasis and there is no need to leave when you get here.  This really is the only place I want to stay in Palm Springs.  Rooms start at around $229 and go up to $1500 for a Villa.  There are specials frequently so visit their website below to see the latest rates.
