How do you keep track of time?

11 Mar

Today is daylight savings. Is anyone else sleep walking today? Springing forward is always pretty tough, but it helps if you have something pretty to look at.  Usually I go more high-end for inspiration, but today I’m feeling a little broke so I wanted to show some watches that are actually affordable. I categorized these watches into four categories: Sporty, Colorful/Fun, Fancy, and Classic. You need more than one – please don’t think you can actually go on a date wearing a Timex (don’t get me wrong, I love mine, but still). So hopefully these watches are some ideas for you if you are in the market for a new timepiece.

Levi’s Curve ID

2 Mar

Who doesn’t want the perfect pair of jeans? I’m sure you’ve seen the ads about Levi’s Curve ID by now. So when I was in San Francisco I decided to stop by their store and get custom measured to find my perfect pair of jeans and see if it really does make a difference. The cuts are Slight, Demi, Bold, and Supreme. I knew I was good, but I didn’t know I was nearly Supreme! So I tried on Bold and Supreme cuts and boy does it make a difference. No gap in the back and I am fully covered when I sit. I recommend getting measured and getting a pair of these custom jeans.

Pleats for Spring

2 Mar

If you haven’t noticed by looking at all the spring collections in the stores, pleats are really big right now and you can find them in high and lower end shops. Especially accordion pleats! With the spring colors all over the map you are sure to find an accordion pleated skirt that suits your style. I found some skirts with different types of pleating in all different price ranges that I want to share with you. For us girls with some hips and booty be careful with the long ankle length skirts. It can make you appear a bit larger. However, the shorter versions can hide everything.

Prada used accordian pleats heavily in the Spring 2012 show.
